Olmesartan Medoxomil, Cilnidipine

Olmesartan Medoxomil and Cilnidipine is a combination medication used in the treatment of high blood pressure (hypertension). Olmesartan Medoxomil is an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), which works by relaxing and widening blood vessels, thus decreasing the effort required for blood to flow and reducing the pressure exerted on the artery walls. Cilnidipine is a calcium channel blocker, it also works by relaxing the muscles in blood vessel walls and thereby widening the blood vessels. When used together, these medications improve blood flow to the heart and work effectively to manage high blood pressure and help prevent potential complications, such as stroke, heart attack, and kidney issues.
