Gadodiamide

Gadodiamide is a contrast agent used in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans. It is an injectable medication that helps improve the visualization of certain body structures, making it easier for healthcare professionals to detect abnormalities and diagnose medical conditions.
Gadodiamide contains gadolinium, a rare earth element, which has paramagnetic properties. When exposed to a magnetic field, gadolinium generates a signal that can be detected by MRI scanners, allowing for more detailed images of the body’s soft tissues, blood vessels, and organs.
