Iodixanol

Iodixanol is a non-ionic, water-soluble, contrast agent used for computed tomography (CT) scans and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures. It is commonly referred to as a radiographic or radiological contrast medium and is administered intravenously to enhance the visibility of blood vessels, soft tissues, and organs within the body.
Iodixanol is specifically designed to improve the diagnostic quality of imaging studies by selectively increasing the X-ray absorption or MRI signal in the targeted tissues.
