Caroverine

Caroverine is a combination medication that contains two active ingredients: Carvedilol and Verapamil. Carvedilol is a non-selective beta-blocker and alpha-1 blocker, while Verapamil is a calcium channel blocker. This combination is used to treat various heart conditions, such as high blood pressure (hypertension), angina (chest pain), and heart failure.
Carvedilol works by blocking the effects of certain natural chemicals, called catecholamines, on the heart and blood vessels. This helps to relax and widen the blood vessels, which lowers blood pressure and improves blood flow. Verapamil, on the other hand, works by relaxing the muscles in the heart and blood vessel walls, which also helps to lower blood pressure and improve blood flow.
Caroverine is typically prescribed for patients who have not responded well to other medications or for those with severe symptoms. It is important to follow your healthcare provider’s instructions carefully when taking Caroverine, as it may cause side effects such as dizziness, fatigue, or slow heart rate.
