Cefepime, Tazobactum

Cefepime-Tazobactam is a combination antibiotic medication, containing Cefepime and Tazobactam, used to treat serious bacterial infections. Cefepime is a cephalosporin antibiotic that works by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, while Tazobactam is a beta-lactamase inhibitor that enhances the effectiveness of Cefepime against bacterial strains that produce beta-lactamases.
Cefepime-Tazobactam is effective against a wide range of bacteria, including gram-negative pathogens such as Escherichia coli, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa.
