Ziprasidone

Ziprasidone is an atypical antipsychotic medication used to treat symptoms of schizophrenia in adults. It is also approved for the acute treatment of manic or mixed episodes associated with bipolar disorder in adults. This medication works by affecting certain chemicals in the brain, such as serotonin and dopamine, which can help control symptoms of psychosis and mood disturbances. Ziprasidone is available in tablet form and is typically taken once or twice daily.
